Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation Receives Prestigious "Most Impactful Institution" Recognition from BRAC Bank

We are delighted to announce that Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation has been recognized as one of the "Most Impactful Institutions" in celebration of the 25th anniversary of BRAC Bank PLC. As part of this milestone, BRAC Bank honored 25 institutions for their outstanding contributions to the country's development and the improvement of people's lives.

Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation received this prestigious recognition for its significant contributions to ensuring access to quality healthcare for thalassemia patients, providing compassionate and affordable treatment for underprivileged patients, and leading nationwide awareness initiatives aimed at preventing thalassemia.

The award was presented at a ceremony held on July 5, 2026 (Sunday), where Professor Dr. Manzur Morshed, Chairman of Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation, received the commemorative plaque on behalf of the Foundation. The 25 awardees were selected by an independent jury panel comprising distinguished personalities from various fields under the supervision of The Business Standard, the country's leading English-language business daily.

We firmly believe that this prestigious achievement is not solely the accomplishment of Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation. Rather, it belongs equally to our thalassemia patients, their families, voluntary blood donors, volunteers, patrons, donors, well-wishers, and our dedicated colleagues, whose unwavering support and commitment have made this journey possible.
